What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you use the service.

How we use cookies

We group the technologies we use into three categories. You can control analytics and marketing categories through your consent preferences.

Necessary

Always active. These are required for the platform to work. They handle session authentication, security, booking and payment flows, and your interface preferences (such as theme). You cannot opt out of these without affecting core functionality.

Analytics & Performance

Active only when analytics consent is granted. These help us understand how visitors use FourStrides so we can improve it.

• Google Analytics (GA4) — measures site usage, page views, and user journeys. Managed through Google Tag Manager and operates under Google Consent Mode v2.
• Microsoft Clarity — session replay and heatmaps to understand how visitors interact with the site. Clarity is loaded directly only after analytics consent is granted; it does not load under denied consent.

Marketing & Advertising

Active only when marketing consent is granted. These are used to show relevant ads and measure campaign effectiveness.

• Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing. Managed through GTM and gated behind marketing consent via Google Consent Mode v2 signals.
• Meta Pixel / Meta Events — advertising measurement and audience building for Meta platforms. Managed through GTM (Version 24) and gated behind marketing consent.
• Bing / Microsoft UET — if active, used for Microsoft Ads measurement. Managed through GTM and gated behind marketing consent.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-NHCMNZKB) to manage analytics and marketing tags in one place. GTM itself loads with Google Consent Mode v2 defaults set to denied. Individual tags are configured to respect your consent choices before firing.

Google Consent Mode v2

Before you make a consent choice, all four Google consent signals are set to denied:

• analytics_storage: denied
• ad_storage: denied
• ad_user_data: denied
• ad_personalization: denied

When you accept analytics, analytics_storage is updated to granted. When you accept marketing, the three advertising signals are updated to granted. Analytics and marketing consents are independent — accepting one does not affect the other.

Managing your preferences

When you first visit FourStrides, a banner informs you that by continuing to use the site you agree to our Cookie Policy. You can explicitly accept all cookies using the Accept button, or click Manage preferences to choose which optional categories to enable. Visitors who do not wish to accept cookies can leave or stop using the site.

After a short period of continued use — or after any page interaction such as scrolling or clicking anywhere on the page (other than opening your preferences) — the banner closes and all optional cookie categories are enabled automatically.

You can update your choices at any time by clicking Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page.

Changes to your preferences take effect on your next page navigation. Analytics and marketing technologies will not be loaded on future pages once you opt out. Scripts already loaded in the current session may continue running until you reload the page; they will not be loaded again after that.

You can also clear cookies directly in your browser settings. This removes any cookies already set but does not change your saved consent preference — open Cookie preferences again to update your choices.
